We created Hanley and the Baird Dreampot CIC because music and creativity should be for everyone, not just those who can afford it, access it, or feel confident enough to try.

Kirsty Baird BEM is one of Scotland’s most respected community music leaders. As founder of Sing in the City, she has spent over 15 years building confidence, connection and belonging through music, growing the organisation to over 1,100 members, raising more than £200,000 for charity and performing on some of Scotland’s biggest stages.

Awarded the British Empire Medal for services to music and community, Kirsty is known for her warmth, humour and ability to bring people together.

Hanley and the Baird Dreampot is the natural extension of her life’s work, taking the power of music to people who need it most.

Her belief is simple:

“A life in music is a life well spent.”
